These two classics from the 80s are from a collection I purchased recently and as always I have played every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade.  They both play with stunning quality and there are no clicks or pops.  The clarity of sound is stunning with barely any static - they really have been so well looked after down the years.

'Girls On Film' plays with stunning clarity and depth and there is no background apart from a couple of minor statics on the end fade out.  A superb start!  The build up intro on 'Planet Earth' plays perfectly and continues in the same precise way, sonically it is out of this world!!  'Anyone Out there' again plays to the highest standard possible, the sound is so rich and deep.  The intro on 'To The Shore' has some light static for the first 3/4 seconds and then plays without fault aside from a little static on the fade out.  'Careless Memories' completes S1 with near perfect audio - just some light static on the fade out again.

The long intro on 'Night Boat' is superb - there are only a couple of very quiet background ticks near the end and it then plays with supreme clarity and definition from then on.  Another STUNNING version!  'Sound Of Thunder' has just one barely audible tick and 'Friends Of Mine' has a little static on the intro and then plays with genuine quality as soon as the vocal kicks in.  In fact the audio is so clean and precise, it certainly does not like it is nearly 45 years old!  The closing instrumental 'Tel Aviv' has some light static on the intro and then plays with imperious quality - there is no intrusion on the audio and for a final track the sound is so clear, rich and deep.

The cover is in excellent condition with barely any marking and just one minor corner crease top right.  There are some small edges creases also mainly next to the spine.  The lyric inner just has some faint spotting here and there but by no means extensive and there are no side splits or creasing.  The vinyl has a few faint hairlines and some very faint 'specks' but they have no impact on the superb audio.

The quiet intro on 'Rio' plays with exceptional clarity, there is next to no static, and then plays 'as new' there is no other way to describe it.  The clarity, depth and power is phenomenal.  'My Own Way' is faultless and 'Lonely In Your Nightmare' is close to perfect with only minimal light static on the intro.  'Hungry Like The Wolf' is 'as new' also and 'Hold Back The Rain' ends the side with sensational audio once more.  The near perfect side it could be said.

The quiet intro on 'New Religion' plays with outstanding clarity and from then on every section plays with stunning precision.  Once again the depth and resonance of the audio is off the scale.  'Last Chance On The Stairway' keeps up the standard with no ticks, clicks, pops or static and 'Save A Prayer' is STUNNING IN EVERY WAY!!  The clarity and warmth is on a level I have not heard before.  Forget any reissue this is the one to own!  'The Chauffeur' ends the album with incredible audio once more, I cannot fault it.  A handful of minor statics that is all and overall the clarity of sound is.... well stunning.  A classic track that could not play any better.

The cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear.  The edges have very little marking and the spine is in great shape with just minor wear on the corners.  The opening edge has minimal handling wear and the front cover has only a couple of very faint marks / blemishes and the back cover is superb.  The lyric inner is perfect and the vinyl is in lovely condition with only a small number of ultra faint hairlines.  It has not been played very much based on the visual quality and the minimal spindle wear.

Play tested on my Rega P2 with AT-VM95EN Cart / Denon PMA-520AE Amp / B&W 684 Speakers

The records have been cleaned on my Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
