Description

Gorgeous copy of the original 1982 pressing of Duran Duran’s classic Rio LP on Capitol / Harvest ST-12211. Still in the shrinkwrap with the original Hungry Like the Wolf hype sticker, which was later replaced by a different hype sticker that also included Save a Prayer and the title track, Rio. This is the very first sticker with only the one song, indicating for sure a very first pressing. It also has a rare Tower Records price sticker from the Hollywood store, a rare collectors item in itself! The disc is very nearly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. A couple of tiny superficial marks but barely. They don’t affect the play in the least. The cover is almost immaculate as well, with only tiny corner wear at the lower right. This is absolutely the best copy you are likely to ever see. A beautiful original.
