Per Wikipedia, Dusty in Memphis is the fifth studio album by English singer Dusty Springfield, released on 31 March 1969 in the United States by Atlantic Records and by Philips Records internationally. Springfield worked on the album with a team of musicians and producers that included Jerry Wexler, Arif Mardin, Tom Dowd, conductor Gene Orloff, backing vocalists the Sweet Inspirations, bassist Tommy Cogbill, and guitarist Reggie Young. Initial sessions were recorded at American Sound Studio in Memphis, while Springfield's final vocals and the album's orchestral parts were recorded at Atlantic Records' New York City studios.  Dusty in Memphis sold poorly upon its initial release despite featuring one of Springfield's top-10 UK hits "Son of a Preacher Man". It has been acclaimed as her best work and one of the great albums of all time. In 2020, the album was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".  In its official press release, the library stated that despite its modest sales when first released, "over time, Dusty in Memphis grew in stature to become widely recognized as an important album by a woman in the rock era.  The album up for bid is a January,1969 release by Atlantic Records and was manufactured at Columbia Records Terre Haute pressing facility.  It consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 32+ minutes.  The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with mild wear on the corners.  There are no split seams or tears and only hints of disc wear on the covers.  The graphics and photos show no sign of discoloration.  The paper inner sleeve is original and intact.  Each side shows promotional releases from the Atlantic catalog and is in VG+ condition.  The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity.  All tracks are free of skips.  There is mild background noise that consists of mild "clicks" that do not interfere with the music.  On testing, I detected a single "click" on Side 2, track 2 (The Windmills Of Your Mind), 2 mild "clicks" on track 4 (No Easy Way Down) and 2 mild "clicks" on track 5 (I Can't Make It  Alone).  The disc surfaces show only mild signs of wear and there is no evidence of scratches or scuffs to the eye of touch.  The sound is strong and clear.  Overall, the recording would qualify as VG/VG+.  This recording is a one owner (me) and has received TLC over the years.
