Description
I have decided over the next few months to sell some of my own record collection. It is varied in its content from 60/70's Folk and Rock to Classical. Some records I have owned since new, others I have carefully selected and picked up along the way.
Whilst I have owned them, they have only ever been played on a Michell Orbe turntable, fitted with an SME V tonearm and Lyra Delos cartridge. This plays through a Tom Evans Groove phono stage, Sim Audio Moon amplification and Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers. Not only is this a revealing system, giving me an accurate assessment of all records played on it, but it has, I hope, looked after the vinyl.
I clean my records on an Okki Nokki RCM and very carefully store them in new sleeves, in a smoke free enviroment.
All records sold, will be cleaned again and play checked before dispatch.
I will grade using the Record Collector system, erring on the side of caution, happy to discuss details with any buyers.
DVORAK Piano Quintet In A.OP.81
Clifford Curzon Piano with the Vienna Philharmonic Quartet
DECCA SXL 6043
This is the original Wide Band Grooved version (see photo's), an Audiophile delight...
Outer sleeve - EX-. The cover is intant, with only some minor creasing off the spine. The laminate is complete with only a little separation in the bottom left corner. No real feathering to the opening. Edges and corners very good. The rear is unmarked save for some ageing.
Labels - Both Mint. Perhaps one very short and faint spindle line Side 2.
Vinyl visualy - Both sides Mint under normal light. Even under direct sunlight it is difficult to see any faint whispy lines.
Vinyl play - NM-. Plays beautiful throughout. It has a crisp and vibrant sound, wonderfully smooth, with great instrument separation. There is very little vinyl surface noise and considering this is, in the main full of very quiet passages, its a tribute to the pressing that after so many years it still sounds so good.
I am happy to offer a full refund, incl postage costs, for any record a buyer feels is not as described, if returned within 10 days.
Please do not leave any negative feedback without contacting me first, if you feel any part of my service is not as you would have wished.
Thank You
