This auction is for a full length (33 1/3 LP), excellent condition vinyl album of “I Scream Not Coming Down” by the band “Dain Bramage”. (See the photos for condition and song titles) There are no marks or scratches on either side of the vinyl... any odd looking patterns, in the picture of the vinyl, are simply reflections of the patterned ceiling and light fixtures, above it.
“Dain Bramage” was a short-lived punk rock band from Washington, D.C. The group was one of former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl's pre-Nirvana bands …before he made himself known in the band Scream. Dave’s unmistakable, high energy drumming is all over this album.
This is an extremely rare and hard to find vinyl… and, to the best of my knowledge, has never made it onto CD. This is a very early piece of rock history, if you are a fan of Nirvana, Foo Fighters or Dave Grohl in general… and certainly for the Washington D.C. Punk scene.
Recorded in 1986 on the Fartblossom Enterprizes label.
