Description
Those of you who know me,will know I only sell items that I have a double of, so you will be surprised that this item is a one off. Basically I need a new computer, it's post, an expensive, christmas, and now the car is playing up, so something has to go, and it's this beauty!
Here we have a one sided, 12",UK metal acetate of the Anything LP, on the Masteroom label. 100% genuine, bought from longtime, reliable,and all round good bloke, the dealer, Roundear(Hi John), in early 1988, this was part of a batch of MCA, Masteroom acetates that were auctioned in a pre Ebay,mad telephone bidding war!
This acetate contains four tracks.On the label of the acetate, it states Side B, but when the Anything LP was released, Side B contained five tracks, so they must have changed their minds. The track listing is a different running order from the LP, as follows:
1. Psychomania
2.Gigilo
3.The Girl Goes Down
4.Tighrope Walker
The label states 19 minutes and 10 seconds. I played, and taped this at the time I bought it, but it has since never been on the turntable, and has been carefully stored ever since.I can't tell you whether these are the same versions that appeared on the LP or not, as the tape has long since disappeared, and I'm not prepared to stick it back on the turn table, as acetates are somewhat delicate!. The label shows signs of ageing, but the vinyl is very clean and has no noticeable marks and only a couple of vry minor scratches, and all round this is a super copy. Damned acetates, on the major acetate labels, very rarely turn up at auction, so grab this while you can. I should say I am somewhat reluctant to even sell this, but needs must, so sadly it has to go, and I hope it ends up in a(Damned) good home.
