EXTREMELY RARE 45 RPM RECORD!
Perhaps one of the WEIRDEST 1960's 45 RPM Records EVER!
If you grew up in the 60's and 70's, LIKE I DID, You've probably had a "SLURPY" at a 7/11 store! Here is their record designed to promote "The Slurpy"! Notes from a reviewer on the web:
Originally issued by the 7-Eleven chain of American convenience stores in the late 60’s to advertise their Slurpee drinks, this track went on to become famous around 1999 when DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist built their legendary 'Brainfreeze' mix around it, resulting the ultimate mix tribute to the funk 7-inch. They used some of the original artwork for the design of the vinyl / cd releases.
The original Brainfreeze mix debuted live at a February 1999 Future Primitive show in Los Angeles where Cut Chemist and Shadow actually brought in Slurpees to distribute to the crowd. Nice touch.

I took a few pictures so you could see what you're getting. I never try to hide anything, and this old 45 is very rare and so considering it's age is in really incredible shape, and I very conservatively rate it as "near mint". I could say it's "MINT" but you may disagree, so I am being more conservative, but that said, do NOT rely on my rating. Use the pictures to decide for yourself if this is the rare example you've been waiting for!
I am sending to you as it came to me....in the plain white sleeve it came in, that was original to this record. As you can see, the sleeve shows some wear from it's many, many years of storage, but it did it's job keeping the record protected ,which has been stored in a climate-controlled studio owned by a professional musician, where he kept his valuable instruments and his most prized vinyl records, like this one. If you want, you can always put it in a brand new plain white sleeve, but this original one is so much more authentic and, well, COOL! Which one do you want to show off this jewel wearing?

THIS ONE WILL NOT LAST! It's not the "cheapest" example. It IS priced a little higher than others, but it's one of those "you get what you pay for" situations, and every single serious collector I know will always choose quality over price. You can quickly forget a couple extra dollars you spend for a far superior record, but you have to live with the mistake of buying lesser grade examples for a very long time, never forgetting you COULD have had the very best for just a few bucks more. This one is for the "serious" collector who won't settle for anything less than the absolute best, like this example, acquired new in 1967, put in storage, and only seeing daylight now after all these years!
Hit the "BUY IT NOW" before it's GONE FOREVER! I did put a "Make Offer" option on this one, so feel free to make a serious, but fair and realistic offer if you like, and I will consider it. But remember while I am considering your offer someone else can come along and buy it out from under you!
