Dando Shaft - S/T ( 1971 US RCA Neon original gatefold cover, black inner, NE 5 ). Incredible find from radio station. . How rare must this be?. English acid folk must have sold zilch in the States. I would imagine this is way rarer than UK copies. Identical except for the cover materials and the RCA " Dynaflex " vinyl used for US pressings at that time. This was still sealed but I opened it up to check it and I'm pleased to say that it doesn't disappoint in any way!. Cover like new, beautiful gatefold still creases like new, no rubbing or creasing. Rear top right has " not for sale, promotion use only " impregnated into the cover US style. ( not printed ). But this one was NEVER used !!. . Just a beautiful cover. Like new. Perfect spine. Everything NEAR MINT. Original black NEON inner had never seen the light of day till I opened it up. NEAR MINT. Vinyl is literally unplayed !. I was very tempted to play it but I,l leave that special treat to the lucky auction winner. What can you say about unplayed vinyl!?. . Only imperfections are a few " shading " lines caused by using recycled vinyl that was very common in the glory days as demand for records was colossal. Lies flat and true on the turntable platter. Looks the same as the day it was pressed in 1971. VERY NEAR MINT. A very special purchase for someone!. . . Gradings as per: Record Collector Grading System. Dealer/collector since 1974.
