Description

     Daniel Lanois is a Canadian record producer, musician, and songwriter.       "Acadie"  is his debut album largely written and recorded in the city of New Orleans.  Lanois sings in both French and English, sometimes even on the same track.  Acadie was named the 20th Greatest Canadian album of all time.  There is an underlying historical link between old Acadian culture and it's Cajun descendants surviving in Louisiana's bayous.  His sound is distinctive, a master piece.  The word 'Cajun' is simply a unique pronunciation of 'Acadian'.  The cover is in near mint condition.  The vinyl is in near mint condition.  Opal Records,  #25969.  Thank you for looking.  (Grading Order:  Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good+, Very Good, Good, etc...)
