Description
LET'S DANCE BY DANNY GOODE AND THE EXCELS. 1965.
THIS IS THE FIRST AND VERY RARE LABEL WITHOUT "THE EXCELS" CREDIT.
THE EXCELS WERE FROM MCKINNEY, TEXAS. THEY WERE INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK-A-BILLY HALL OF FAME IN 2006. FOR A FULL HISTORY OF "LET'S DANCE" CHECK OUT ronniefoster.com/ronnie%20page/excels.htm
The labels are in very nice condition with excellent shiny silver lettering and little wear, fading or soiling. A couple of stains on side one. The photos tell the story.
The vinyl has been well played but is still very enjoyable. Background noise is not excessive and there are no skips. Played with a Grado MC+ mono cartridge.
VINYL CONDITION:
SIDE 1:VG. Has many micro scratches and a few small ones. One produces several medium pops in the middle of the side but they do not distract.
SIDE 2:VG. Has many micro-scratches but no intrusive pops or clicks.
WILL BE SHIPPED DOUBLE BOXED WITH THE RECORD IN A PRO DIE-CUT 45 BOX AND NEW PAPER SLEEVE AND PLASTIC 45 COVER.
