"Dark Light" features the hauntingly dynamic first single 'Wings Of A Butterfly', which entered the Finnish rockers into the UK Charts at # 10. This following previous HIM hits 'Solitary Man' (#9), 'The Funeral Of Hearts' (#15), 'The Sacrament' (#23) and 'Buried Alive By Love' (#30) into the charts. Produced by Tim Palmer (U2, The Cure), 'Dark Light' is classic HIM, the kind of tales of love and desire that inspire fans to worship at the altar of the almighty Heartagram. Among the standout tracks on the 10-song collection are the infectious 'Under The Rose'; 'Killing Loneliness', a hauntingly melodic rocker that begins with a piano intro and includes a memorable hook; 'Dark Light', a classic rock ballad; the thunderous 'The Face Of God' and the guitar-propelled sinister closer, 'In The Night-Side Of Eden', which fades out with a machine-like beat and a Vincent Price-esque vocal. 2 LPs, double gatefold jacket, dust sleeves (nb. this is the old-fashioned hand-wrapped style jacket).
