Description
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. Gatefold LP. Harvest. STEREO SHVL 804. I bought this album on the day it was released in 1973 and I therefore expect it must be a first pressing. Side of the vinyl run out 1 has ""PR" "2"plus SHVL 804A-2 stamps. Side 2 has "LO" and "2" along with SHVL804B-2. The centre pyramid is infilled light blue. The album cover is a dark blue colour. The inner sleeve is paper and plastic with a patent no and "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" in the bottom right. It was played a lot and I didn't look after it the way I would now! It is heavily scratched, but is playable, in "Good" only condition but, as a presumed first pressing and because of its rarity and value, it may be of interest to a collector. It comes with one of the posters and 1sticker (see photo). The sticker has "PERMANENT" on the back.
I have part of a review of the album from Melody Maker dated 10th March 1973, which I will include with the sale.
