This is a wonderfully recorded audiophile disc. This record is in absolutely MINT condition, even sides 1 and 3 have no hole-finder marks on label and sides 2 and 4 have only 1 mark. Jacket does not have outer plastic and is near mint. Thanks for looking. In Special Limited Edition box on back there is no number, so is a PROMO and has white labels.
Blackjack David is a phenomenal Americana blues record from former Blasters singer/songwriter/lead guitarist David Alvin, and everyone who has heard it has had his or her socks knocked off! An amazing storyteller, Alvin received incredible accolades for this recording including Stereophile's Record of the Month in August of 1998. It is a record of incredible depth, both sonically and lyrically. MFSL's engineers said, "When we heard the original analog master tape for the first time, everyone in the room's jaws dropped.
