ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for a copy of Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet. This is the second version of the cover hyping more songs than the first one. The release is on a six eye Columbia label, appropriate for a first issue.

Cover Grade: VG+ strong  With some light wear and a couple of edge chips. There is a small area of missing paper on the back side bottom near the edge. Inner sleeve is not original to the LP. 

Vinyl Visual Grade: VG+   There are some microscopic style scratched that are visible in bright sunlight, but have no effect on play whatsoever.  There are a couple of slightly larger ones also, having no effect on play. The outer edge of the LP has a very minor warp which is only seen when placed on a platter and rotated. holding the vinyl it is not really visible. It has absolutely no effect on play at all, at least on my table, which is a Yamaha YP-D8 with a couple of different quality cartridges.  Both labels are bright and clean. 

Vinyl Play Grade: Side 1: VG++ strong with occassional ticks heard in quiet passages of the LP. This plays very nicely. There are no real issues with it.   Side 2: VG++ a little more in the way of tics in some quiet passages, but not all.....and not a lot more....  but still not detracting. I am nitpicking a little here..... 

For an almost 60 year old piece of vinyl, it plays very very nicely. 

I have to admit that after playing it to grade it completely, I am hesitant to sell it.... Sometimes you forget how great an LP is if you have not played it in a while. Someone better snag this one fast before I decide it is a keeper.  :-) 

Grading wise I do not really call any vinyl Mint.
