Description
It's been a while since I've sold any records on eBay, but it's time to dust a few gems off... Here's a beautiful early pressing of the Dave Brubeck Quartet's immortal album Time Out, featuring Take Five. This pressing is an original, on the Columbia label with the "Six Eye" artwork. It's a much rarer stereo pressing, which was probably outnumbered by mono pressings by at least a 10-1 margin. The cover is M-, with only a minor corner ding. The disk grades at VG++; it's oh-so-close to M-, but has a very minor, inaudbile fingernail mark across the last track, "Pick Up Sticks" and a couple of very minor sleeve abrasions. If you're looking for a beautiful example of an album that everyone must own, in an original pressing that simply sounds tremendous, you will have a hard time improving on this copy. Matrix numbers are: XSM47855-2AG XSM47856-2BC This album has no cut out marks, split seams, stains, or any other problems that might detract from it. Shipping within the United States is $4.00, which includes a proper record mailer and cardboard packing material. Records will be removed from their covers for shipping and placed in a protective plastic sleeve. Shipping will include insurance for values over $25, as well as tracking. Foreign buyers must pay for registered mail with a signature required and insurance and customs declaration for the full value of the item. No shipping to France, Italy or anywhere in South America.
