Description

This is the Mono pressing of the Dave Brubeck Quartet's "Time Out" issue by Columbia in 1959. This copy has all the hallmarks of a first edition, particularly the runout codes XLP 47853-1F and XLP 47854-1H though the variants of these codes can be complicated. The label is closer to a burgundy red (although my photo was taken in sunlight and looks redder). There are a couple of "rub" marks across a couple of cuts but no scratches deep enough to click. There is an interesting number "1" (stamped rather than printed?)  at the lower right corner of the slipcover. This pressing was "Made in Canada" and perhaps the 1F and 1H are indications of this ( I'm a music teacher, not a record collector, so if I am incorrect about this description please give me a heads up.
