Description

An original 1964 1st mono press of Time Changes on UK CBS. Matrix 2/1. Textured labels with correct large format "33" speed and recording 1st published exhibiting. And pressed by Philips [V420 info] - these were the very 1st copies available as CBS were only just introducing their own pressing factories in 1964. Original flipback E J Day cover. Original inner dated to Autumn 1965! Now, please note the cover is technically MONO. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few slightest marks per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with just deviation in a couple of tracks. Very delicate audio you're gonna need a clean copy to stand half a chance of revealing this fantastic audio to full effect.  A pretty clean player mostly - but not exclusively. Track 2 side 1, for instance, plays with some background. Not unpalatable - but not as clean as the rest of the LP. A bit more background a third of the way through Elementals. Not quite clean enough to hit the topper gradings - but should be fine providing you're not uber fussy.
Cover (Vg+) Lovey condition - particularly given the vintage. Nice and clean front without too much sign  of ageing. The rear is relatively clean and looking better than many specimens. Spine 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
