Description
DMB fans! This auction is for one of the most sought after pieces of DMB history: TOO MUCH / JIMI THING on vinyl, 45. This item only comes up once every few years. This is one of only three official dmb vinyls in existence. The Space Between / I did It (45) and the complete album: Before These Crowded Streets, are the other two. (contact me if you are looking for the other 45)

Item is in complete, excellent condition. The vinyl is almost perfect, near mint condition, still shows perfect gloss. The sleeve is in very good condition and has some lite creasing.
The vinyl was pressed in the EC.
DMB items on vinyl are unique and this is one of only two 45's they have released and the only one that has its own unique cardboard sleeve. It also has a picture of the band on the middle part of the record. The space between record has no picture sleeve or art on the vinyl.
This record has a live Dave and Tim version of Jimi Thing with 'what will become of me' outro. This song later evolved into Pantala Naga Pampa on the Before These Crowded Streets album. It is the only live Dave Matthews song available on vinyl.

Too Much sounds excellent but the live jimi thing is incredible. Jimi Thing is recorded at Jorgenson Auditorium, University of Connecticut. (2/17/96)

If you think BTCS Vinyl is rare... This Too Much/Jimi Thing promo is very very hard to find. Perhaps those who bought it/received it back in the day just decided to hold on to it, and that's why it is so difficult to locate anywhere.
