Dave Pratt Vol.1 RED Vinyl and Admission Ticket.1985 Phoenix Az 98 KUPD Radio.
Gently used condition, no scratches. It has been wrapped in cellophane since purchase. Comes with album sleeve, so fun to look at while listening to this former extremely popular disc jockey and his band. His morning show in the early 80’s was the longest running Rock and Roll radio event in the entire U.S! All original songs written by Dave Pratt/Catch 22- and The Sex Machine Band. Recorded at Chaton Recordings,Pantheon and Desert Sounds Studios.
KUPD was located at 2021 E.Thomas Rd, Phoenix Arizona
Dave Pratt a.k.a. “the morning mayor” was a very popular morning DJ in the valley, entertaining thousands of listeners on their morning drive to work affectionately known as living in “Palookaville”.
The admission ticket was from a concert called Red Radio “Rock Revenge”,Performed at the New Pride Pavilion on Indian School Road on 11/23/84.
It was called “the minimum wage show“. The cost of the show was a whopping $3.35, reflecting the minimum wage in 1984!
The red paper ticket is in great shape..Rare condition at 38 years ago.Pratt and his band headlined many sold out shows in Arizona.
This collection would be a fan favorite holding many fun memories from back in the day! Enjoy
