Description

David Bowie Album on Philips Label SBL 7912 UK

The condition of the vinyl is excellent

The gatefold cover has a small white area of the card showing top right where the I suspect the price sticker was. (I have seen many of these and a lot have the same thing) There is some rubbing on the top and bottom of the front cover and the spine is rather scuffed. There is some sellotape on the right hand edge but the rear of the cover is very good indeed as is inside the gatefold. I have gone into depth about the condition as i know how important it is, but overall it is a good item with the vinyl itself being immaculate.

Interesting to note is i'm convinced the actual album is the one photographed on page 9 of the book "David Bowie Profile" by Chris Charlesworth (1981) as the white area is exactly the same shape and position.
I purchased the album from the record peddlar shop in Manchester in 1979
