Description
VG+ vinyl grading.
Ignore the rating under "condition". Ebay forces sellers to choose from a rating system which is totally incompatible with standard LP rating systems. I have selected "Very Good" as a default for all listings. The CORRECT grading is stated right here in the description (as above in this text box).
Australian bidders, I hope you'll find my range of US, UK and European pressings to be significantly cheaper than what you'll pay for them by buying from those countries elsewhere on ebay!
US and UK bidders, take advantage of the low Australian dollar and grab a bargain!
Don't dismiss the Australian pressings in my listings. I have kept a number of Aussie LPs in my personal collection simply because they have a nicer, more flat frequency response than some UK / US etc sources and Aussie vinyl from the 70?s through to the 80?s generally seems of a high quality, especially compared with a lot of the reissue US vinyl.
VISUALLY, NOT PLAY GRADED
All LPs are visually graded under harsh and bright light. I do not play-grade and will not refund or accept returns for reports of records jumping or sounding too noisy. This is not because I do not sell high quality pressings. This is because I have learned the hard way that a skip / jump is usually the result of interaction between the cartridge / tone arm etc weight, alignment and tracking. Case in point, my original cartridge used to skip on several records, leading me to believe I had lots of bad LPs - but as soon as I replaced the cartridge and spent a couple of hours properly setting the weight, alignment etc, I happily found that *none* of my records skipped a beat.
Noise, presuming an LP is not scratched, is equally an issue resulting from so many possible interactions between unseen dirt (no matter how clean the LP looks, unless it's been sealed, VPI'd or Revirginized, you can guarantee there's going to be a fair amount of *something* in its grooves), static buildup, the alignment / tracking, of your stylus, etc that I will make no guarantees about this factor. I do not play grade because what sounds great, with low noise etc on my system and setup, may sound noisy on yours and vice-versa.
I *do* guarantee that I will disclose whether there are known warping issues or significant marks (not otherwise described by the rating) on the vinyl and I will always grade as accurately and conservatively as possible.

This clearly explains my gradings. Most of you will already understand what M, M- or NM, VG etc mean, but if you do not, read that article, please. However, I am happy to answer specific questions about records as I always ask before buying, too!
All records have been gently cleaned / dusted and unless described otherwise will not be covered in dust. Everyone has their own preferred cleaning regimen, so I'll leave that to you.
I have not given covers / sleeves a grading because the photo galleries provide more accurate information.
In some cases I may have failed to mention an inner sleeve seam split - please ask specifically if you are concerned about such things and I will check for you.
Otherwise, consider yourself informed of the possibility that there may be the odd inner sleeve seam split here and there.
LP's will ship as pictured, and packaged tightly (not too tight!) in a cardboard package with the disc in a sleeve outside of the jacket (to prevent seam splits) in all cases unless you specifically request otherwise.

PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON WHAT THE DEFAULT LISTING POSTAGE INFO STATES ABOVE. It's a nightmare trying to get it correct. BELOW is the correct information.
Please read the following postage rates information BEFORE you bid. I will not be held responsible for your postage costs if you make presumptions about how much multiple LPs weigh. Please ask questions about combined weight BEFORE you bid. You may get lucky and have a combined shipment cheaply for 2 LPs, but if they are LPs with heavy covers etc, they may well come over 500g.
Within Australia:
I have gathered these rates by using the Australia Post postage calculator based on LP packaging requiring around 33-35cm each side and approx 1 cm deep.
Ranges from $10.95 for a single LP to $17.90 for multiple LPs.
Large Satchel - Australia Post $17.60 for up to 5kg (quite a few LPs would fit, likely 5-10 max for things to be properly packaged).
A large satchel from Australia Post (51 x 43.5cm) is the minimum size required to fit a properly cardboard packaged LP.
Alternatively:
Self contained package up to 500g (1LP or possibly 2LP depending on the LP cover / gatefold weight) $10.40 including signature on delivery (required).
1-2 LP's in cardboard post packaging - $10.95 with signature on delivery (required).Self contained package up to 1kg (2 to 4 or 5 LPs depending on the LP cover / gatefold weight) $17.90 including signature on delivery (required).
TO US:
< 500g = $17.00
501g to 1kg $35.00
1.1kg + = $47.00
Extra cover < $50 = $9.60
TO UK:
< 500g = $22
501g to 1kg $37
1.1kg + = $49
Extra cover < $50 = $9.60
The average single LP and its cover weighs around 240g, give or take 40g!
If you intend to buy more than 1 LP, please contact me BEFORE bidding so that I can calculate total postage, unless you are not fussed. Some LPs together will weigh less than 500g, some will weigh more!
1LP means ONE ALBUM, not a double! 2LP means one double album OR 2 single albums.
