Description

An original 1st pressing of Diamond Dogs on the UK RCA label from 1974. Matrix A1/B1 'Oly'. Please note labels are consistent with 1st pressing - the track 'Bewitched' is mentioned on side 1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover which is uncredited [this is indicative of very 1st issue]. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Shiny like new and has clearly only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. The only deviations are a few crackles in the spoken word intro & 'We Are The Dead' [common]. There's a quick pop during the intro to Diamond Dogs too. But if you can live with this then the remainder of the record plays back to a high standard. The audio quality is topnotch - rich,vibrant, with lots of detail. 
Cover (Ex) Remains in fantastic shape with a lush looking front and back with only the very lightest of handling use. There's the slightest touch of edge wear, but nothing remotely significant. The interior is absolutely immaculate too. The spine is pretty good condition too with the text still readable. Overall the cover has a really nice rigid feel to it.
