Description

An original 1st press of DDs on the UK RCA label from 1974. Matrix A1/B1 Oly - very 1st cut. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original uncreditted gatefold cover. Also included is the original RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In impressive condition and has only seen the very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity.  The TEST track I always tend to find issue with is 'We Are The Dead' - but this rendition is very nice and clean with no issues at all. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A great little player!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In great shape and has clearly been very carefully looked after. Lovely clean front and rear which are not exhibiting the usual surface wear and creasing - just one tiny indentation on the front.The interior is superb - just a couple of minuscule nicks. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings still sharpish. The spine is pretty much entirely intact - which is unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+)  A one inch side split. A bit of ageing at the extremities.
