David Bowie - Diamond Dogs - Original 1972 A1 / B1 LP - Stunning Condition!

This is a 'time warp' copy of one of David Bowie's most iconic albums.

Totally original 'first pressing', with the following credentials: -

* Original matt finish double sleeve

* Orange Glossy RCA labels

* Produced by Bowie / a Mainman Production on bottom of labels

* Manufactured by RCA Limited in curved white text at the bottom of the labels

* APL1 0576 A / APL 0576 B on labels

* ARL1 0576 A-1 oly / ARL 05761 B-1 oly in run-offs on record

* Original white paper liner

* RCA APL1-0576 Stereo / Mainman logo on rear of sleeve

Condition:

As you can see from the pictures, the record is a bit of a stunner! The vinyl is practically flawless, from what I can see. Even under a critical bright light, there are virtually no lines on this record at all. It is gorgeous - black as night!

The labels are fully intact with no writing or tears on them. All I would point to is the evidence of what appears to be a bit of rubbing on both sides, but in no way does that detract from the glossy shine of the labels themselves. I detected a couple of spindle marks on either side, but that's all. This record has not been played very much at all, in my opinion!

The record sleeve is beautifully detailed and crisp. No compression/flattening creases (bar the very faintest one at the bottom left hand side of the front cover - if you look at it in the light). The sleeve edges are beautifully detailed with only the merest hint of burring (1 - 2 mm tops!) along the spine. The opening edge of the sleeve is razor sharp, save for the tiniest impressions (<1mm) extending perhaps 5cm upwards from the bottom edge of the rear - barely perceptible! Always kept in a protective plastic sleeve.

The record itself sounds fantastic when played - just great!

All in all, I think this is a really superb and well looked after copy of an iconic album - it would grace any collection in my opinion.

Auction price up to 50GBP: I will post the record via Royal Mail Signed For Delivery, insured to it's actual sale value.

Auction price > 50GBP: I will only post the record via Royal mail special Delivery, insured to its actual sale value. 

International Bidders please note - I will only post the record via International 'Airsure' postage, which means it will be tracked and requires a signature at your end, but it is fully insured for loss or damage. This is costly, so please be sure that you are ok with this before bidding on this record! I have set postage at 0.01GBP initially....it will obviously be a lot more than that!!

N.B.

Please DO NOT PAY until I send you an invoice for the record...I have to work out what the postage will be first. Ebay only allows a maximum of 7GBP for postage in the UK... and special Delivery (especially overseas)  is frequently more expensive. I do not rip people off with postage, but I don't pay it for them!

I will accept returns if you are unhappy with the record once it arrives (i.e. it doesn't meet your expectations) and will refund the price paid at auction. This does not include damage caused by transit though, as that is covered in the postage insurance - please remember this point!

That's about it really. I hope you can see that this really is a great copy of a great record. I try to be completely honest in my assessment of the things I sell on Ebay - I believe I have given a good account of things here!
