David Bowie "Fashions" 7" Binder with 10 Picture Discs
We have here an exquisite vinyl rarity from the one and only DAVID BOWIE: "Fashions," a plastic binder containing ten picture disc 7-inch singles spanning eleven years of the Thin White Duke's extraordinary career. This item is an extremely limited UK import released in 1982 by RCA. The records faithfully duplicate the musical contents of ten of Bowie's UK 45s (including a few rare non-lp B-sides that are currently unavailable on CD) with a different photo or image of David adorning each side of all ten records. These 7-inches are all tucked into clear plastic pouches, all of which are bound into a beautifully designed plastic notebook cover. It's a labor of love that any true Bowie devotee will crave. The records are all in great shape though, being picture discs, they are subject to the sonic limitations one expects from the format. The binder is in fine condition as well, but the plastic pouches inside now slump to one side slightly, a fate that probably affected every copy of this set -- the ravages of time, you know. Don't miss this chance to possess a real David Bowie treasure!
