David Bowie - Five Years 1969-1973 10 LP (13 piece) vinyl box set. 2015 Parlophone issue. New and sealed. Box in mint condition, no corner dings or dents to the box.

Box includes all 6 original studio LPs from Space Oddity to Pinups, Live Santa Monica '72, The Ziggy Stardust soundtrack, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust 2003 mix, and RE:CALL1 pressed onto 2 LPs, all on 180g audiophile vinyl. Exclusive to this box is a beautiful companion book featuring rarely seen photos, essays from Tony Visconti and Ken Scott, original press reviews and a foreward by Ray Davies.

The first three albums and Pinups have all received brand new 2015 remasters for this issue. They are great. The Man Who Sold the World in particular is incredible, and the best this album has ever sounded in any format. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust LP contains the 2012 remaster, which is incredible in its vinyl LP mastering. It's also the best I've ever heard this LP.

This will come mailed in the original box and with styrofoam ends that were custom made for this box set. Unless the box is extremely mishandled by the USPS, there should be no problems in receiving this box in perfect condition with no corner dents or other damage.

Out of necessity, I am currently liquidating my entire collection of vinyl, CDs and music-related DVDs, spanning many genres including, but not limited to, metal, punk, new wave, indie and classic rock. This massive collection has been sourced by either buying brand new items, or paying special attention to used item condition. While there are many collectible items in this collection, the main focus of the collection is audiophile, and I have put intense research into sourcing these items so as to acquire the best sounding issue I could reasonably afford. In many cases the issue will be the best sounding copy of the recording in existence. As I did not have time to get around to actually listening to much of this collection, in most cases many of the newer items have been opened, but never played; so they are effectively in "as new" condition. All vinyl is visually graded as I don't have time to play grade a collection of this size.

Each listing will be started at a fair, competitive price (I don't compete with the big box sellers who usually provide poor item packaging to keep costs down). Each time the item is relisted (every 30 days), the item will be discounted 10%. Please do not contact me asking to negotiate the pricing of any item. Each item will be given a chance to sell at the asking price, then gradually discounted month by month until it sells. New items added daily until the entire collection is listed!

ABOUT ME

I am committed to accurate descriptions, transparency, and shipping your items fast and as protectively as costs will allow. All items are stored in a pet and smoke free home. All items stored correctly (LPs in poly-sleeves, vertically) and well-cared for.                                                                                 

PACKAGING

LPs: All LP records will be shipped using a "frustration-free" type LP mailer with extended edges. I have a 100% success rate with these mailers. They are made out of heavy cardboard and their unique construction holds the LP firmly in place as well as protects the jacket from the corner dings and dents that are so prevalent as a result of using standard LP mailers. Please note that, by default, I do not remove records from their jackets before shipping as most customers do not want their records shipped in this way. If you wish to have your record(s) removed from the jacket before shipping (I can do this for new records as well if you agree to having the record opened), please notify me before shipping. If you do not inform me first that you would like your album shipped in this fashion, understand that SPLIT SEAMS MAY OCCUR from USPS mishandling. Please note that records made prior to 1970 are an exception, and are automatically shipped with the vinyl outside the jacket, unless you request otherwise. LP jackets are stored and shipped in poly sleeves.

45s: Heavy cardboard dedicated 45 mailer with one 7" cardboard insert.

CDs: CDs over $10 in value will be placed in a special cardboard box, then in a bubble mailer. CDs that use special packaging, such as digipaks, or card sleeves, will also be placed in a box mailer first, regardless of item value. Thick, deluxe edition type CDs will be mailed in a special protective mailer meant just for this type of item. Standard single jewel case CDs $10 and under will be mailed in a bubble mailer with cardboard protection. Please note, standard jewel cases are susceptible to damage that may occur during shipping. I highly recommend purchasing replacement CD jewel cases online; they are cheap and a necessity for anyone serious about collecting.

DVDs/Blu-rays: DVDs over $10 in value will be placed in a special box mailer specifically designed for mailing DVDs, then in a bubble mailer. DVDs that use special packaging, such as digipaks, will also be placed in a box mailer first, regardless of item value. DVDs/Blu-rays $10 and under that use standard cases will be mailed using a bubble mailer, with cardboard protection. Please note standard DVD/Blu-ray cases are susceptible to damage that may occur during shipping. I highly recommend purchasing replacement standard DVD/Blu-ray cases online; they are cheap and a necessity for anyone serious about collecting.

OTHER: Box sets, bulk orders or items with odd shapes and sizings will be given special attention and shipped in a dedicated fashion.

SHIPPING

All items are shipped within one business day of receiving payment (Mon-Fri; I do not ship on Saturdays - items purchased on Friday or Saturday will be shipped the following Monday, excepting holidays).

I ship worldwide, but customers in the following areas MUST purchase registered mail, regardless of item value: Mexico, Central America, South America, Italy, Russia, Africa, Turkey and Greece. Registered mail will be $13.95 in addition to regular postage. You will be invoiced for this amount through Paypal after your purchase. If you do not pay this invoice in a timely manner, I must cancel the transaction. If you live in the areas mentioned above and registered mail cannot be purchased for your locality, I must cancel the transaction.

Please note I can only ship to the Paypal address which appears in the shipping address section of your Paypal account. I cannot ship to any other address, even upon request. If your address has been entered incorrectly so as to make it not possible to ship to you using Paypal, you must modify the address before shipping. If either of these terms are not adhered to, I must cancel the transaction.

PAYMENT

I only accept Paypal. Buy It Now items require immediate payment. I do combine shipping, but only on items of similar format and size (ie CD + CD, LP + LP, 45 + 45). If you wish to combine shipping, please purchase all items, including shipping, and within 24 hours I will issue you a refund for any difference between actual shipping and what you paid. If purchasing multiple items: before sending final payment, please make sure only items of similar format are in your cart, as only one unique tracking number per transaction (package) can be issued.

RETURNS

I do not accept returns, only due to the nature of the items I sell being primarily vinyl records, many of which are new, but unsealed. Please read all listings carefully and mouse over all pictures of the item to make sure of what you are buying. Of course, all buyers are always protected under eBay's policies. If you receive a damaged or defective item, or an item that you feel is not in the condition described, please e-mail me first before leaving feedback so that I can resolve the issue. I am committed to solving any problems you may have with any item you purchase from me, as well as going above and beyond to make sure my customers are happy.
