DESCRIPTION: David Bowie LP- Hunky Dory. Early Uk pressing with matt orange RCA labels and insert. Matrix ending 2E/3E. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA- SF8244 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is pretty clean with a few light hairlines. Played brief passages of this today on my Project Deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Very Good+. Trace of background sound in quietest passages. Music is pretty much clear and loud.. This is a great Lp, one of my top twenty favourites of all time. Cover is in great shape . It is firm and square and has only a little more than light edgewear, light cornerwear and minimal creasing. Lyric insert is also VG. Clean labels with some very light foxing. No writing, rips or stickers. Decent playing and sounding early UK pressing of this classic Bowie LP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
