DESCRIPTION: David Bowie- Hunky Dory LP. Likely to be a contract pressing complete with "grooved" labels, hand etched matrix ending 5E/5E, orange RCA labels, undated RCA white inner and printed insert. Really nice clean complete copy of a rarely seen variant of a classic Bowie LP. Postage cost includes recorded delivery and box mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA SF8244: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 though this will be slightly later 1970s.COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen. Played most of this this afternoon on my budget deck. Music is clean, clear, vibrant and loud. Cover is in outstanding shape, much better than average. Its better than EX. The colours appear brighter than usual. It is firm and square and has minimal edge wear, light corner wear and minimal creasing. Great shape to fully legible spine. White inner is unusually clean with light wear. Insert is also very clean, free from any foxing and has light wear only. Again, probably better than EX. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or other sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
