David Bowie - Hunky Dory UK First Matt Sleeve Pressing
A really nice 1st UK matt sleeve pressing of Hunky Dory with all associated attributes - Gem Logo on back, 3T/3T + Bobil / Rasputin vinyl with Shiny / Glossy labels, brown sepia lyric inner. No mention of Mainman on Sleeve or Vinyl!
The sleeve is Matt, the Gem logos present at the top right of sleeve. The sleeve is in Ex condition, no tears, writing or significant damage to sleeve, spine solid. The only minor issues are a little sticker mark top left, some age related and storage wear which aren't significant and I've tried to highlight on the photos. It is still a really nice copy.
Vinyl is the very first pressing with 3T/3T Matrix numbers and Bobil / Rasputin in run out grooves. Vinyl is clean. The labels are shiny, glossy and smooth, without any dip/groove like some more common 3T copies, indicating a very first pressing (as included with the previous laminated sleeve versions). It plays through really well, there is a click for a short while at the beginning of Changes the attached video highlights this but once the chorus kicks in this ends, there is the occasional low level crackle between tracks and in some really quiet areas but this is only only typical of vinyl of this age and certainly not intrusive or overpowering. Generally plays through fine and and it is a really nice keeper copy that can be played and enjoyed.

No reference to Mainman on sleeve, inner or labels.
