This auction is for one sealed, orange vinyl copy of "David Bowie - Live In Berlin [1978] L.P." and one sealed, silver vinyl copy of "Time b/w The Prettiest Star" 7" These are exclusive releases *ONLY* available at the AMAZING David Bowie Is exhibition at The Brooklyn Museum, NYC. But you probably already know that.
In any case, these two editions are freakin' awesome, but not as KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF fantastic as the actual "David Bowie Is" exhibition. Really, you shouldn't be spending your money here on these, you should be saving up to come to Brooklyn and see all the amazing stuff - original costumes, exclusives videos and photos, alternate takes/outtakes, hand written lyrics, etc. I knew it was going to be great, but I was just blown away with the quality and depth of the collection. Really, the show is BREATHTAKING. And touching (bring tissues).
In any case, if there really is no way you can make it here for the show, I promise to pack these copies like the precious cargo they are and ship them within two days of receiving payment (if not sooner). The photos in this listing of the opened copies spinning are my personal copies, shown just so you can see how cool they look (they sound better).
