David Bowie Japanese Issue 7": Crystal Japan / Alabama Song - 1980 RCA Records Japan
Comments: Fully Play-Tested. I bought this record new in the early 1980s. It has been well cared for and stored in a protective poly outer sleeve.
Record Condition: High-end VG+ condition. There are a few light surface marks/hairlines - primarily on the edges. Lighter marks don't always show up well in the photos. This record hasn't been played often, but I did give it a spin before offering it for sale. In the 1980s I recorded my new vinyl to cassette tape for day to day listening. The sound quality of the music is superb. I noticed some light background record surface noise crackle in the beginning of the instrumental "Crystal Japan". After that only a few light, random ticks were heard. The listen was very enjoyable.
Sleeve Type: The record is in a RCA Records company sleeve which is fronted by a two-sided glossy picture/lyrics insert.
Sleeve Condition: The glossy front insert is in VG+ condition. It's clean and good looking, but there is some creasing, especially on the top edge and one lower corner. The RCA Japan Company sleeve is also in VG+ condition. It's clean and good looking with some creasing. There are no seam splits. The record has always been stored in a poly outer sleeve.
Inner Sleeve: None.
Inserts: None, unless you count the pseudo picture sleeve already described above. I personally consider that piece to be part of the outer packaging (even though I did refer to it as an insert previously).
Shipping Note: You can be sure that this will be packed well for you. I've been selling records by mail since 1992. I know a thing or two about packing records safely for shipping, using appropriate, professional grade packing materials.

I promise to pack your item securely, no matter what it is. Everything I ship gets packed well, so don't worry about a thing.
If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.
For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can. Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to pay for items you want individually instead of requesting a total from the shopping cart, I will promptly send back whatever money I can for a shipping discount.
- Some items are not compatible for combined shipping.
- Combining shipping might require changing the shipping method or increase packaging materials expense.
- A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping.
- Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front. You have to tell me exactly what you intend to buy and where it will be shipped. I can't always give an exact cost, but I can at least give you an estimate.
