Best version of an increasingly rare album which is going up in value all the time.
This is the very rare JAPANESE version and in excellent condition (most normal version of this are bad condition when found)
Whats so special about the Japanese version?
Well, Japanese vinyl is in general much better than Western version, with better quality vinyl used for the record itself, often taken direct from master recordings just for the Japanese market.
The covers are thick card (as is this one) which means they last so much longer and look so much better than other versions which use cheaper printing methods.
Japanese vinyl is in general, much better looked after also and this one has always been stored in a protective clear outer cover (included) so the cover is still just about immaculate both in shape and its surface.
The corners on this record as with all the edges and the spine are perfect. No marks at all.
The front and back of the cover are also perfect.
The record comes in an anti static inner bag, and has been professionaly cleaned.
It plays perfectly.
Under normal light, it looks perfect.
Under bright testing light, you can see the faintest of surface marks, the sort that only come from putting the record in and out of its inner sleeve. Under normal indoor light it looks excellent condition.
All Japanese records also come with an additional paper printed strip that shows info on the record and artist on the outside of the cover, this is called an 'obi' strip. These are collectable in themselves and are usually the first thing that goes on a record making finding a perfect condition one, on a perfect condition cover an absolute rarity for this vinyl LP.
So, if you love Bowie and the film Labyrinth, then this is an absolute collectable piece!
Very rare to find, and will only increase in value if well looked after...
Normal Western version of this record sell on ebay for anywhere from £50-£150
This one would expect to be worth much more in the long run.
