Nicely preserved rare and original copy of David Bowie's 1983 release of "Let's Dance" (Both single releases - China Girl and Lets Dance are on this album)
This album is presented on the EMI America Recording label - Catalogue number is AML 3029
About the album:
The Outer Sleeve:
Remains in its original factory issue format with no writing rips or tears, bearing only the most minimal signs of ageing – slight creasing is visible to the front lower left hand side but nothing at all untoward (please see photo's) the corners,sides and spine are all very well preserved for its age
The Inner Sleeve:
Is the factory pressed picture styled lyric insert and is in excellent clean order. Again, no rips, tears or writing.
The Vinyl:
Presents on both sides with an excellent clear glossy sheene.
Side One:
A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals one or two very light hairline scratches / surface marks that are not of any particular concern to me, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of excellent quality and faithful.As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated. At no time on side one is there any skipping, jumping or sticking.
Side Two:
Similarly,a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two reveals one or two very light hairline scratches / surface marks that are not of any particular concern to me again, I have played side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of excellent quality and faithful. As with any vinyl - again, one can detect the occasional crack consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust on quitter sections of the album - there is though, no skipping, jumping or sticking througout the entire duration of side two.
Overall, and in my considered opinion,this album plays to an excellent audio standard.
The record labels are in very good order.
