Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: David Bowie – Man of words/Man of Music - RARE Original Vinyl LP album 1969.
Genuine Original USA PROMO Pressing.
Mercury ?– SR 61246

- Matrix - SR 61246-B-M1(stamped) 1-11 MR(etched)
White coloured centre label with "Promotional copy not for sale" on the label.
I am not looking for offers on this record I’m afraid and there is no buy it now price.
Vinyl Condition: VG (Very nice condition record. Some light sleeve rubs but overall very nice condition. Plays very well with nice sound. Some crackle at the start of side 1 but soon clears up. No sticks or jumps. Overall a pleasure to listen to).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Original inner sleeve has some large stains and some small rips to the top. Otherwise ok).
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Gatefold sleeve has lots of large water stains on the front, back and inside the sleeve. There are some surface tears on the front of the sleeve towards the bottom. These surface tears don't jump out at you but are quite visible it you look at them. Some wear to the spine but you can still read the text. Some general edge and corner wear & creasing. Overall sleeve is decent but has defects).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
