Description
12" LP David Bowie "The Man Who Sold The World" : Mercury.
I've relisted this as I originally withdrew it from sale as it was unclear whether it is authentic or not. For clarity, this album has an etched matrix number rather than a stamped number : for some fans this apparently indicates it is a modern copy as opposed to an original (but for other fans, this may not be an indicator of it being modern). Many thanks for the understanding of the previous winner and the excellent advice that I received from the Bowie online forums and EBAY experts on the subject.
Sleeve and centre of record have a rippled feel, like they had been wet and then dried. Edge of sleeve if a bit worn (as shown). Has name "Pete" on rear of sleeve (as shown). Vinyl surface looks OK but has some minor scratches close to the inner label and a scuff on track 1 (as shown). not performed a play test so condition based solely on visual inspection.
Please see photos as they form part of the overall description.
