Format 7" Vinyl Single Country Norway Label Mercury Record Label 6052 026 Track Memory of a Free Festival Part 1 / Part 2
I am reliably informed that this is a Norwegian pressing from the early 70's with the early matrix numbers 1F v 1 2F v 1 . This pressing had a serrated raised ring around the outside of the label, the large centre hole and the writing is in a different font than the UK pressing. Two copies of this sold on the internet a couple of years ago and the seller said that this was a limited pressed single of 200-250 only.
I have listened to the single there is a slight edge warp but it plays really well with some crackle in the quiet part beginning of the track side A .
This is a really nice copy and would make a great addition to a collectors Bowie collection.
This is a fantastic 7" Single on the Mercury Record Label in Very Good condition. The Vinyl is bright and has some surface marks and surface scratches. Comes in Mercury Sleeve. Labels are crisp and clean. Large centre hole.
