UK RCA (BOW LP 2) FIRST PRESSING (September 1980) OF DAVID BOWIE'S "Scary Monsters"

LOVELY CONDITION 

PRESSED WITH THE FIRST ISSUE RCA MATT BLACK LABELS
MATRIX: BOW LP 2 - A - 3 (etched "I CANT THINK....") / BOW LP 2 - B - 4 (etched "....OF ANYTHING") with "TOWNHOUSE" stamped on both run-offs
THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATT SLEEVE © 1980
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD LYRIC INSERT

RECORD - Near Mint / Near Mint

Play tested throughout. Sounds fantastic. Lovely glossy shine to both sides. Unmarked to the naked eye.

LABELS - Near Mint / Near Mint

No noticeable spindle marks. No writing. No rubbing.

SLEEVE - EX

Strong square sleeve. Very minor general and corner wear.

GATEFOLD LYRIC INSERT - EX+

Very minor light crease to one corner area. Otherwise very nice.

 

Record Collector Grading System (+ or - may be added to the grade)

  • MINT (M) - the record itself is in brand new condition.

 

  • EXCELLENT (EX) - the record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality . The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

 

  • VERY GOOD (VG) - the record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items is acceptable without any major defects.
