Description

Space Oddity is the second album released in 1969  by English singer, songwriter, David Bowie.  Bowie attempts a variety of styles on this album, as if he were trying to find what suited him best while introducing himself to the world as an artist.  Space Oddity was David Bowie's first success at reinventing himself.  The song describes a space mission that starts out adventurous, and ends with it's hero, Major Tom, endlessly drifting above the Earth in his 'tin can'.   Ground control to Major Tom....  (expect to hear it many more times).  The album cover is in Very Good+  condition.  The vinyl LP is in Very Good+  condition and comes with the printed lyrics insert sleeve.   Also - this album comes with the folded poster.   Thank you for looking.
