Description
This listing is for a vintage vinyl LP of the album by David Bowie called The Man Who Sold The World.
This is a 1972 US pressing of the album released by RCA with catalog # LSP-4816.
It is technically a reissue, since it was first released in the US in 1970 on Mercury, but this was the first wide release version of the album in the US.
This album includes the original poster insert, which is in mint condition as it's never been hung up and has always been stored in the sleeve of the record.
Record Condition:
Only very minor visible surface wear.
Surface noise is minimal.
Still has a nice high gloss finish.
Clean center labels.
Some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Very Strong VG+.
Jacket Condition:
Still in the original shrink wrap.
Minor visible wear on open exposed edge of the sleeve.
What appears to be ring wear looks like it might be on the shrink wrap and not much on the jacket itself. But I can't say for sure without removing the shrink wrap which I won't do. So just know there might be minor ringwear if you decide to take the shrink off.
No seam splits, writing, or any other major defects.
Inner Sleeve: Original printed inner sleeve, which is in great condition.
Industry Grade: Very Solid VG+.
Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.
Please see the various images on this listing for further details on the condition of the record and jacket.
