Description
This is a rare opportunity to own a Play Tested first pressing of David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World" on vinyl record . Released on the Mercury label this version with the earliest 1Y1/2Y1 matrices , Tonny Visconti credit misprint and textured dress sleeve was quickly withdrawn in the UK thereby resulting in its rarity with copies highly sought after by collectors worldwide wide . Genuine first pressings such as this are rarely seen for sale .
With its rarity and timeless sound, this record is a true treasure.
The cover is in Very good + condition, with only three small marks which I have shown in the photos which form part of the description of this rare lp.
The vinyl has a very small amount of scuffing and only a few hardly noticeable hairlines and I have therefore graded it as Very good ++
although I am probably being harsh given how great the vinyl looks and sounds.
I have included the original inner polylined sleeve, a new poly lined spare sleeve & an outer cover protector.
