Description

I am downsizing which means you get a chance to purchase items from my record collection. I wish I could keep them, but my plans to see the world cannot include my albums. All my albums have been cleaned and kept in poly covers.

The disc is real and the cover not.

When I looked at the disc it had the machine stamped matrix in the run out indicating it is authentic. Then I looked at the cover the back cartoon is to far below the lyrics indicating that the cover is counterfeit.  I bought this record at over 20 years ago used.  I am presuming that someone had the authentic disc and the counterfeit cover and put them together.

I will start the record at 9.99 and let you decide if it is valuable or not.

The Man Who Sold the World Mercury Records Moving Pictures Mercury Records SR-61325 1971.  Played the album the first side had two pops close to each other on track one. No other issues. Side two had a light crackle on track one and no issues afterward.  Besides the two noises everything else was VG+ and sounded great.  Could not find any obvious flaws. There is a stamp on the label.  The Cover is G+ with wear, some wrinkling on the front, a pin hole punch, 3 1/2" split on bottom middle and 5 1/2" split on top from open end and 1 3/4" from the other end on the top. Price Sticker.  Original inner sleeve with 3" split on right middle side and 1 1/4" on bottom middle.

Shipping: I use shipping boxes made by Sleeve City and pack with pads and bubble wrap. Each album will be in a poly sleeve and the record will be outside the cover in the poly sleeve to protect the album cover. I want to be sure that your purchase arrives safely.
