Up for auction is a mega rare, 1972 David Bowie promotional bumper sticker. It was only given out at his famous October 20, 1972 concert at The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium concert in Santa Monica, California. You had to be in attendance that night to get this sticker! I’m auctioning this for a friend of mine who was at this concert and has been holding on to this since 1972! These are impossible to find, even here in Southern California. I have seen only one come up for sale here before.
Description: Size: 10 Inches X 3 1/2 inches.
Hand screen printed, in glossy black ink. Flat paper sticker stock. The color is a REALLY bright florescent orange, the actual color is much brighter than the photos can capture.
Overall condition is good, see up close photos for condition.
Original sticker backing has come off and adhesive is no longer sticky and is completely dried out. Original sticker backing is included.
Sticker has never been stuck, backing has naturally come off due to age: (45 Years Old!)
Paper of sticker is not cracking or rotted.
Would look really great framed in a shadow box frame!
