Description
Purchased on the secondary market with both the vinyl and jacket advertised in near mint condition and following my own review I would agree. I listened to the album through the Grado’s and the sound was perfect. A visual inspection of the album revealed a couple of very minor surface marks (these very faint single lines, I almost can’t imagine how such these things got there, maybe from the sleeve?) that in no way impacted the dynamics; just an absolutely fantastic sounding edition of this album. Numerically I will score this vinyl a 97.
My inspection of the cover also confirms a near mint rating. The corners show very light wear with a minor bump on the top right corner. There are also a couple of minor bump along the top of the cover (above the ‘I’ and ‘G” in the word ‘Original’). When looking at the cover from behind there is the start of a split developing on the top (above the latter ‘S’ in the word ‘Master’) Numerically I score this cover a 94 well within the near mint category.
