Description
This is the live double LP (don't be misled by the title "Motion Picture") of Bowie's legendary gig at the Hammersmith Odeon on July 3rd 1973. This was the night that Bowie, appearing as Ziggy Stardust for the very last time, announced to the audience that he would be killing off his alter-ego.
The music is incendiary throughout and the charged atmosphere is perfectly captured on this Bowie produced, Visconti remixed document of that now legendary night.
There are some scuffs to the jacket , particularly by the bar code on the reverse cover of the gatefold jacket (see picture). Nothing unexpected from a record that is now 33 years old. Both records play through very well indeed.
I'm moving house shortly and reluctantly having to sell my much loved record collection as I'll no longer have space to store them all.
