Description
Here is a perfect, still sealed copy of a killer psych guitar private press rarity, PRIMEVAL ROAD by David Chalmers. He is a fabulous, slightly Hendrix-inspired guitarist who put out two albums in the 70s, this being the first and better of the two. His music ranges from heavy guitar rock to moody, dreamy psych-folk. Excellent vocals and songwriting to go along with the fab guitar work. This is a great album! The copy I have for offer is the ORIGINAL issue done privately by David himself on the Same Old Records label. It contains two hot guitar rockers, "Houston" and "Snow White Horse," that are not on the second pressing of the album. The second pressing is also remixed, though to be honest I've heard both versions and can't tell the difference. This first version, due to the rarity and two different songs, is the more collectable of the two by far. I've seen used copies listed in catalogues at $250, and the last one I saw on eBay sold for $172.50. Check out my other rare psych auctions!
