🌍 ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:
Nearly 45 years after Pink Floyd filmed their original Live at Pompeii without an audience, David Gilmour returned in 2016 for two spectacular live performances in the ancient Roman amphitheater — this time in front of a live audience. These concerts marked the first rock performances in the venue since the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Captured in cinematic and sonic glory, Live at Pompeii blends Gilmour’s solo work with Pink Floyd classics, performed with a world-class backing band under the stars of Italy’s most iconic ruins.
