BEAUTIFUL MINT- CONDITION
This is a great PROMO 7" 45-single by David Peel & the Lower East Side (PRO 6498 / SPRO 6499). This is a 1972 single ("F IS NOT A DIRTY WORD", and b-side, "THE BALLAD OF NEW YORK CITY/JOHN LENNON-YOKO ONO") from his first album "The Pope Smokes Dope". The record is on Apple Records label. The whole album was produced by his buddy's John Lennon & Yoko Ono. "Not for sale for radio play only" is printed on both labels. The condition of the vinyl and labels is fantastic MINT-, I can't imagine how there could be better. This definately never spent time in a D.J.'s hand at a radio station. John and Yoko would listen to David performing in and around central park on a regular basis and loved his work. They wanted to help his career and offered to produce his original music. John twisted the other Beatles arms and all but forced them to allow David onto the Apple label (only for this one album). The A-side is mono and the B-side is stereo. This is an extreamly rare find of a true original voice in music and in spectacular condition, get it while the gettin's good!
I ship fast and TAKE GREAT CARE TO PACK GOOD AND SAFE in a mailer with filler pads for extra protection.
THANKS for the interest and good luck with bidding.
IMPORTANT - Read before bidding:
The only way to get delivery confirmation OUTSIDE THE U.S.A. is to ship Express Mail International. Sorry this is so expensive, but I have been taken advantage of in the past and I have to protect myself. Please calculate the shipping costs before bidding so there are no surprises. I hate to say this, but if you don’t agree with the shipping costs, don’t bid.
If you need details or info on anything, let me know.
