Description
David Thomas & The Pedestrians - "The Sound Of The Sand, and Other Songs Of The Pedestrian" Vinyl LP.
Original 1981 UK-issue 11-track LP on Rough Trade Records.
(NOTE :- This LP is cut to play at 45 RPM, "for greater fidelity.").
Solo Project of Pere Ubu frontman David Thomas.
Pere Ubu bandmates Allen Ravenstine and Scott Krauss play on parts on this - other notable players include Anton Fier, Richard Thompson, Philip Moxham (Young Marble Giants) and Chris Cutler.
Lyrics are printed on the back of the sleeve.
Superb condition all round (see detailed gradings below).
Getting harder to find these original Vinyl copies now... Here's one in absolutely top-notch condition !!

Condition :-
Vinyl - EX Plus
- All pretty much clean and unmarked. The only sign of any play any play or handling is a very faint spindle mark on the Side 2 label.
Sleeve - EX
- No sticker marks or writing, No edge, spine or corner wear, No splits, No creasing.
- Just a very faint partial ringwear rub mark from storage, just for a few cm. near the centre of the top edge on the back. Hardly noticeable.
- Just the very lightest of general handling/storage marks.
Labels - EX Plus
- No wear, writing or sticker marks. Just a very faint spindle mark on Side 2. No fading.

Despatch and Packing :-
All items are normally posted within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Where payment is by Cheque (or Paypal's eCheque), items will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.
Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!
All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
Gradings :-
I use the UK "Record Collector Magazine" grading system for vinyl.
