ID no. 9008042 Title: Sketches of Spain Test Pressing Artist: Davis, Miles Product Condition: SS Cover Condition: VG Description: This auction is for a STILL SEALED single LP Test Pressing of the Classic Records 180gram reissue of Miles Davis' "Sketches of Spain" with jacket. These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and less than 20 exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value and store of value. As a follow up title our highly-successful release of KIND OF BLUE, Classic has chosen another perennial winner SKETCHES OF SPAIN. From his most melodic, and some feel prolific Columbia period, "SKETCHES" is one of the four full albums Miles Davis would collaborate with Gil Evans. The masterful trumpeter tackles Spanish melodies that fascinated and intrigued him. Track list: Concierto De Aranjuez, Will O' The Wisp, The Pan Piper, Saeta and Sole Jacket in very good condition. Dent on upper right hand corner.
