Description
Released by Dawn in 1971, cat # DNLS 3019; this is “First Utterance” by Comus.
The gatefold sleeve is in at least excellent condition. The spine and seams are very clean. There is ever so slight ringwear on the rear of the sleeve and the general appearance of the outside of the sleeve is that of gentle ageing with minimal wear.
This copy comes with the elusive insert which has a bit of creasing to the corner as you can see in the picture.
The record labels are remarkably clean with less than a handful of spindle marks between the two sides.
The record is in at least excellent condition – in fact if you use +/- grades you might be tempted to call the playing surface mint minus. Clearly the lack of playing is borne out on the playing surface – lovely and clean. There is a small pressing fault on the final track on side two that has no effect on the reproduction of the record.
